According to CNC3 TV’s Business Watch which aired Friday January 13 2017, Uber the transport company will be launching in Trinidad on Monday January 16 2017. See http://www.cnc3.co.tt/business-watch/business-watch-uber-monday
Uber’s website notes that Uber will be available in the Port of Spain areas and San Fernando areas (which do seem to cover all of Trinidad, judging from Uber’s website) . However, whilst you can get fare estimates from Uber’s website, (Update Jan 15 2017 – now you can!) its not yet available for Trinidad.
