The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) #41 meeting in Singapore begins Sunday 19 June 2011 to Friday 24 June 2011. The meeting page can be viewed at http://singapore41.icann.org/
The Trinidad and Tobago Computer Society (TTCS) is an accredited ICANN At-Large Structure (ALS) and a founding member of the Latin American and Regional At-Large Organisation (LACRALO), comprised of 36 At-Large Structures in 15 out of 33 countries in the Latin American and Caribbean Region. At-Large is the name for the community of individual Internet users who participate in the policy development work of ICANN. The chair of the TTCS (Dev Anand Teelucksingh) is attending the meeting as the LACRALO secretariat.(There are several persons from Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean in Singapore, more in another post)
Singapore is 12 hours ahead of Trinidad and Tobago time, so that the Sunday 19 June 2011 meeting of At Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) and Regional Leadership Working Session I at 9am local Singapore time is Saturday June 18pm at 9pm. Remote Participation is available for many of the meetings by viewing the agenda page for each meeting from the ICANN Singapore meeting schedule page
